ID card photo
Choose an ID photo for the exact card and issuing authority. We list the Danish ID card separately from a generic 35 × 45 mm format. A Danish domestic identification card is not the same as a national travel ID; check its permitted uses and photo requirements with the issuer.
Biometric means face recognition
The photo must work with automatic face recognition. That's why there are rules on head size, even lighting and a neutral expression – and the face must not be edited.
Digital file or print
Choose the format your authority requires. The digital file has the document's dimensions at the right resolution, and the print template can be printed at home or at a photo kiosk.
